What size bracelet should I order?

General Bracelet Sizing Guidelines: ~ To ensure a perfect fit, please measure before ordering. ~ All of our bracelets are measured end-to-end, including the clasp. ~ Depending on the bead configuration of the bracelet, your bracelet may vary from the size you order by up to approximately 1/4 inch. We make all bracelets "as close as possible" to the size you order. The bead pattern may also vary slightly from the photo if you order a size other than the one depicted in the photo. ~ Children's pricing is for bracelets up to 6-1/2 inches.
TO DETERMINE PROPER SIZE:
CHILDREN: Measure the child's wrist and add approximately 1/2-inch (for ages newborn to 3), or 3/4-inch (for ages 3 and up). This will allow "wiggle room" without the bracelet being too large. Remember, all children's bracelets include a "grow chain" to allow for an additional 1/2-inch of growth. If the bracelet is a gift and a wrist measurement is not available, please let us know the child's age and we will approximate.
ADULTS: Measure the wrist and add 1 to 1-1/2 inches to that measurement for bracelets with a toggle clasp. If the bracelet uses a lobster clasp, please add 3/4 to 1 inch to your measurement. HOW TO MEASURE: Using a soft, flexible measuring tape, measure wrist just below the wrist bone. The tape measure should be snug against the wrist, but not tight. Then, add the recommended amount stated above (or simply provide us with the wrist measurement and we will take care of the calculations.) If you do not have a measuring tape you may use a ribbon or piece of string. Mark the length, then measure with a ruler.
RESIZING INFORMATION: To avoid resizing and additional charges, PLEASE measure before placing your order. If actual measuring is not possible, then there are two options: (1) find a bracelet that fits her nicely and measure it from end to end including the clasp or (2) use the approximate size chart located in the MEASURING AND SIZE CHART on this web site.
Neither of these methods are as accurate as measuring, so please keep in mind we do charge to resize your bracelet (with the exception of medical jewelry) if it does not fit. It takes us just as long to restring the second time as the first.
We offer a one-time free resizing on medical jewelry if returned within 14 days.

We use this for your convenience, and to process our orders only. The information you provide to us will be used solely by us, to process your orders. We will not distribute, display or sell any information you entrust to us. We will not allow any third party access to your personal information unless forced to do so by law.

Is there anything I should know about my purchase of children's jewelry?

Children are particularly hard on their jewelry. Delicate pieces with lots of "dangles" and charms should not be worn during a trip to the playground, sports or during rough and tumble play. Always monitor young children when wearing their beaded jewelry. Please always remove children's jewelry during nap and bedtime.
Q: How to Clean Jewelry
How do I care for my sterling jewelry?
A:
For regular maintenance, buff with a clean soft cloth or a jewelry polishing cloth. Always avoid direct contact with harsh chemical cleaners, perfumes and lotions. Because the color and shine of your jewelry may be permanently affected, we recommend that you do not wear your beaded jewelry while cleaning, swimming or bathing/showering.

Generally the recommendation is that you NOT wear any jewelry in the water. While the individual beads and components of the bracelet are of the highest quality (sterling silver, Swarovski crystals, Czech glass, etc.), the bracelets are strung on nylon-coated stainless steel wire. Getting your bracelets wet on occasion is not a cause for concern, but prolonged exposure may have adverse effects. Also, if the beads wear into the nylon coating and expose the wire, it could also exacerbate the issue.

Do you offer a warranty on your jewelry?
A:
Absolutely! We strive to provide the finest quality possible. All jewelry is made using quality materials and professional techniques, but no bracelet can be guaranteed never to break. This is especially true for medical jewelry which may be worn every day. All jewelry items carry a three month warranty and will be repaired free of charge within the first 90 days. After 90 days, any damage or breakage is considered normal "wear and tear".

How will I know my medical ID bracelet will fit perfectly?

Please refer to our Bracelet Sizing Guidelines for help in determining what size to order. We want to be sure that your medical identification jewelry fits perfectly. If your piece needs to be sized up or down, you may return it to us within 14 days for a free re-sizing.

What is your return policy?
A:
Due to the personalized nature of medical jewelry, we do not accept returns. Before ordering, please ensure that your engraving information is correct. It is submitted to the engraver EXACTLY as it appears on your order form. Once engraved, we check all charms and plates for accuracy against the original order form before shipping. However, sometimes mistakes do happen. If our engraver has made an error, please contact us and your engraved plate will be replaced free of charge.

How do you ship your jewelry?

All jewelry is sent via the United States Postal Service. Standard shipping is USPS First Class Mail with delivery confirmation. Larger orders may be sent via Priority Mail.
Within the United States, actual transit times can range from 1-5 business days. Delivery times can run a little slower during peak mail seasons, such as Christmas.

How quickly do you ship jewelry?

Please allow up to one week for your custom jewelry piece to be created and shipped. However, we do process all orders just as quickly as possible and many are shipped within 1-3 days.
Medical ID Jewelry: Your medical identification jewelry piece is custom made for YOU. Due to the personalized nature of custom engraved medical ID bracelets and charms, please allow approximately 2 weeks for receipt of these items. Engraved plates and charms will NOT be ordered until we have receipt of your payment.
